I’m Rohan. I code, I write, I direct (sometimes vaguely) and re-structure footage using a non-linear editor.
I’m 28, male, vaguely descended from Scottish, English and Cornish folks (plus some other lessĀ noticeableĀ genres of human) and reside in Sydney, Australia.
I have made two films – Insecurity, a hacker feature that’s received everything from disturbingly sexual praise by email to near-violent forum posts blasting it for almost every aspect of the production, Dead Man Drinking (our second and latest zero-budget feature) and a number of shorts (or as a friend of mine calls them, “experiments”) that range from comedies about hitmen to serious dramas about, uh… British immigrants and dead parents. I’m presently working on a web series called Sharehouse Zombie Apocalypse, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like – a black comedy with liberal sprinklings of near-horror.
I release many of my projects into the creative commons, and I’m a big fan of pretty much any OS that isn’t Windows.
I love coding, watching good films, watching bad films while drunk, and ruminating on the decline of the Romanian textile industry.
I can be cyber-stalked on twitter, and links to all my projects can be found at my production group’s web site.
